General Guidelines and Requirements for Admission

Conditions for the admission to Bachelor Degree program Applicants who seek admission to the Catholic University of South Sudan must fulfill the following conditions: Degree Program: Applicants must have:

  • Passed in the South Sudan Secondary School Certificate (SSSC) with a minimum of 60 %.
  • Passed in three compulsory subjects: English language, Mathematics and Religion; and pass in the four subjects of the section of his choice: academic or science.
  • Equivalent of the above for the Students who studied in: Sudan: pass in Sudan School Certificate with a minimum of 60%; Kenya: Kenyan Certificate of Secondary Education: C+ Ethiopia: Ethiopian General Secondary Education Certificate (EGSLCE: C+ Uganda: Ugandan Advanced Certificate of Education: UACE: A –Level

Diploma Program: Applicants must have:

  • Passed in the South Sudan Secondary School Certificate (SSSC) with a minimum percentage 50 %.
  • Passed in three compulsory subjects: English language, Mathematics and Religion; and pass in the four subjects of the section of his choice: academic or science.
  • Equivalent of 50%, for the Students who studied in countries mentioned in no. 1.1.3. above and other foreign certificates.

Note:

* Applicants who studied in Sudan, Kenya, Uganda or Ethiopia or elsewhere must have a Secondary School Certificate certified by the respective Embassies/Ministries of Foreign Affairs.
